Grandma Dickrell'S Molasses Cake - 1936 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. bacon fat or butter
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. molasses
    3/4 c. dried bread crumbs
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. powdered ginger
Preparation
    Mix together.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 in greased loaf pan for 35 minutes.
