Busy Day Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef, cut in chunks
    salt and pepper
    small onion, sliced
    carrots, cut into 3-inch pieces
    potatoes
    1 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Put stew beef in a buttered casserole.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add onion, carrots and potatoes.
    Pour tomato soup over top.
    Cover tightly and bake at 275\u00b0 for 4 hours.
