Hominy Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. finely diced celery
    1 large onion, diced fine
    1/2 medium green pepper, chopped fine
    1/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 packets instant chicken broth mix (any dry instant soup mix may be substituted)
    4 1/2 c. cooked hominy grits
    3 slices whole wheat bread, cubed
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    3/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    In heavy skillet, melt butter.
    Add celery, onion, green pepper and broth mix; stir and cook until onion is transparent. Transfer to a greased 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Add remaining ingredients; stir.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until top is golden.
    Makes 6 servings.
