Stir-Fried Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sherry
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 large green pepper, cut into thin strips
    1/2 c. sliced onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 small tomato, cut in wedges
Preparation
    Freeze meat 1 hour to firm to make slicing easier; slice into thin strips.
    In small bowl, combine soy sauce, sherry and cornstarch; mix well.
    In large skillet over high heat, cook pepper and onion in oil until tender-crisp.
    Add meat mixture; stir fry until meat loses its pink color and sauce thickens slightly.
    Add tomatoes; heat through.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
