Sexy Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium onion, minced
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 c. Burgundy wine
    1/2 c. cooking sherry
    8 oz. Cheez Whiz
    1 large can mushrooms with liquid
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    chicken legs, thighs and breasts, boned
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Brown chicken and place in casserole pan which has been greased.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 1/2 or 3 hours, covered.
    Uncover the last 15 minutes and garnish with slivered almonds.
    Serve with rice.
