Grandma'S Cod - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    codfish
    butter and oil
    garlic, crushed or minced
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. cold milk
    3 c. warmed milk
Preparation
    Boil and drain cod.
    Melt butter with oil and heat until bubbly.
    Add garlic, salt and pepper; simmer.
    Add cod.
    Add flour to cold milk and shake well to remove lumps.
    Add this to warmed milk and stir into simmering cod.
    Continue to simmer a few minutes.
    Serve hot with polenta.
