Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. butter
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add lightly egg yolks.
    Blend in mashed potatoes; combine cocoa with flour and cinnamon.
    Add alternately with milk in which soda has been dissolved.
    Then add enough flour to make normally thick cake batter.
    Add nuts and fold in egg whites beaten stiff.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until a toothpick stuck in center comes out.
