Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. cooked, mashed, drained squash or canned squash
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    oil
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Form into patties.
    Fry in pan with oil until brown on both sides.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Batter will keep 1 week in refrigerator.
    Preparation time:
    30 minutes.
