Fresh Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced peaches
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Sprinkle peaches with lemon juice and sugar.
    Let set one hour.
    Drain peaches and measure 1 cup syrup and blend with cornstarch.
    Stir over low heat until thick.
    Add extract and cool.
    Pour some over shell and then pour over peaches in ready baked shell.
    Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
