Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can small peas
    1 can white Shoe Peg corn
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 oz. chopped pimentos
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Drain peas and corn; mix these with other vegetables in a covered plastic bowl.
    In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, vinegar, black pepper, salt and vegetable oil.
    Bring to a boil, pour over vegetables.
    Cool overnight.
