Perfect Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
6 c. tart cooking apples, peeled and thinly sliced
2 (9-inch) pie crusts (uncooked)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
In small bowl, mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
In large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice; let stand 5 minutes.
Add sugar mixture to apple slices. Pour apple mixture into pastry-lined pie dish.
Cover with top pastry and crimp edges together.
Vent top.
Bake 45 minutes or until top is golden.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
