Baked Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. regular rice (uncooked)
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    2 fryers, cut up
    salt and pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    3 c. water
    butter and margarine
Preparation
    Spread rice evenly in bottom of a well-greased oblong baking dish.
    Sprinkle with 1/4 the onion soup mix.
    Place chicken on rice.
    Add rest of soup mix.
    Combine mushroom soup and water; blend well and pour over chicken.
    Dot with butter.
    Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 325\u00b0 for 2 hours.
