Super Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg, beaten
    1 cake or packet yeast
Preparation
    Sift and measure flour.
    Place shortening, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Add lukewarm water and stir well. Stir in beaten egg and dissolved yeast. Add flour all at once.
    Beat to make a soft dough.
    Make into rolls.
    Let rise about 1 hour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or
    until brown.
    Makes 15 to 18 rolls.
