Ingredients

2 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced
1 large Vidalia onion, sliced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. water
black pepper to taste
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Slice cucumbers and onion.
Place in a bowl.
Sprinkle with salt and set aside.
Combine vinegar, water, pepper and sugar. Heat until sugar melts.
Pour over cucumbers and onion and refrigerate.
