Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oats
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour water over oats and let set 20 minutes.
    Cream together brown and white sugars and shortening. Then add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix in other ingredients.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
