Simple, Delicious, Fresh Apple Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. dark brown sugar
    8 oz. Neufchatel or fat-free cream cheese
    1/4 c. salted, skinned peanuts, chopped
Preparation
    Bring cream cheese to room temperature.
    Beat cheese and brown sugar until completely mixed and smooth.
    Chill at least 2 hours. Quarter apples, then slice each quarter into thirds.
    When ready to serve, spread cheese mix in shallow bowl, then sprinkle chopped peanuts on top of cheese mixture.
