Kielbasa Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. kielbasa, sliced
5 to 6 potatoes, cut as for potato salad (may vary according to size)
3/4 carrots, sliced
1 can chicken broth
1 small onion, diced
2 to 3 stalks celery, sliced
1/2 head cabbage, chopped as for soup
1/2 green pepper
2 (16 oz.) cans Northern beans
garlic powder, sprinkle with shaker
basil, sprinkle with shaker
hamburg seasoning (optional)
chicken bouillon crystals, sprinkle
2 c. water
Preparation

Mix all of the ingredients, except broth, water and seasoning. Place in 5-quart pot and then add water, broth and seasonings. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours.
Check several times.
May not take as long, depending on size of diced and sliced potatoes.
May cook on low-medium all day if desired.
