Raisin Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2/3 c. milk
    1/3 c. raisins
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix together ingredients.
    Knead lightly and pat down onto a floured board into a 3/4-inch thick circle.
    Cut into 8 wedges and place individually on a cookie sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
    Serve warm with butter and homemade jam.
