Beer Batter(Used For Years!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour, sifted with 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. beer
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Beat egg yolks and stir in beer; add to flour and stir only until blended.
    Add margarine and let stand 1 hour. Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture.
    Great for shrimp and fish pieces or almost anything.
    Deep fat fry.
