Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
1/2 c. milk
2 c. blueberries (fresh)
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Cream butter and gradually beat in sugar.
Add egg and milk.
Beat until smooth. Add dry ingredients and fold in berries.
Spread batter into greased and floured 8 or 9-inch square pan.
Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
