Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. 8 oz. sugar (5 c.)
    8 eggs, beaten
    3 lb. 4 oz. flour (6 1/2 c.)
    2 tsp. salt
    2 lb. 4 oz. butter (4 1/2 c.)
    1/4 c. baking powder
    2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs; beat again.
    Sift dry ingredients; add to cream mixture and mix well.
    Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 100 cookies.
