Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Cook first 5 ingredients to 248\u00b0 (2 degrees below hard boil). Add vanilla.
    Pour over popped corn and mix well.
