Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white sugar
    2/3 c. water
    salt (about 1/4 tsp.)
    1 c. walnuts
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy pan.
    Boil for 5 minutes or until firm ball stage.
    Beat egg whites stiff and gently pour syrup on them.
    Beat until stiff, then add nuts.
    Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper.
