Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. butter
    5 eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. flavoring
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, butter, shortening and eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour, flavoring, milk and baking powder (the flour and milk alternately, then add flavoring and baking powder).
    Beat until creamy.
    Bake in a greased pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Increase heat to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 30 minutes more.
