Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1 Tbsp. self-rising meal
1 egg
1 onion, chopped
1 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Beat egg and add other ingredients.
Shape into balls and fry in deep fat (preferrably where fish has been fried).
When golden brown, remove from fat and drain on paper towel and serve hot.
