Special Hash Brown Potatoes(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (24 oz.) pkg. frozen shredded hash browns
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk (can use skim evaporated milk)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. chopped chives
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Slit package and microwave potatoes 10 to 12 minutes, turning once.
    Empty potatoes into a shallow 2-quart casserole.
    Add milk, salt and chives; mix.
    Dot with butter.
    Microwave, uncovered, 5 to 6 minutes, or until mixture comes to a boil.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.
    Microwave 4 to 5 minutes more. Serves 6 to 8.
