Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. light corn syrup
3 c. raw Spanish peanuts
6 drops red food color
1/4 c. butter or oleo
pinch of salt

Preparation

Mix in large saucepan: sugar, water and syrup and bring to a boil.
Add peanuts and food color.
Cook over medium flame until hard ball stage (250\u00b0).
