Plain Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter (not oleo)
2 c. sugar
5 large eggs
2 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light.
Add eggs, one at a time (unbeaten), beating after each addition.
Add the flour gradually. Add baking powder with last addition of flour.
Add water and vanilla.
Bake in a small angel food pan for 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
