Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. syrup (Karo, blue label)
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook syrup, sugar and water until it will spin a thread.
    Add peanuts and cook over medium heat until peanuts are well roasted (do not undercook).
    Add salt and soda.
    Pour on well-greased surface.
    Break in serving pieces.
