Japanese Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. vermicelli
    1 cucumber, thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
    1 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
    1/2 lb. cooked shrimp
    1 green onion, cut in 1-inch slivers
    Soy Dressing
Preparation
    Cook noodles until barely tender to bite (approximately 9 minutes).
    Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again.
    Cut noodles in short strands.
    Mix with dressing and chill it overnight.
    The next day, mix cucumber with salt and let stand for approximately 20 minutes.
    Rinse well; drain.
    Mix with noodles, mushrooms, tomatoes, shrimp and onion.
