Chocolate Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 stick margarine
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and margarine.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Mix in sugars and eggs.
Mix in flour, soda, salt, cocoa and 1/2 of the chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread in greased and floured 9
x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle rest of chocolate chips and nuts on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
