Baked Turkey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 turkey (any size), thawed
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 475\u00b0 (very hot), about 9 or 10 p.m. the night before you plan your family feast.
    Place turkey in a covered roaster.
    Add 1 quart hot water and bake 1 hour.
    Turn off oven. Do not open door.
    Leave all night.
    In the morning, it will be golden brown; you will have plenty of broth for dressing and gravy and the most tender turkey you ever tasted.
    Be sure the roasting pan's lid fits.
    I use a hot water bath canner with rack under turkey.
