7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
4 hard-boiled eggs
1/2 green pepper, diced
8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
1 c. diced celery
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas (uncooked)
1 sweet onion, sliced thin
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
2 c. mayonnaise
4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Tear lettuce into bite size pieces and place in large bowl or 9 x 12-inch dish.
Layer eggs, vegetables and bacon in order given.
Add sugar to mayonnaise and spread over top.
Do not stir. Top with grated cheese and cover.
Refrigerate 12 to 24 hours.
