Nannie'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening or oil
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla; add eggs and mix well. Stir in flour and salt.
    Dough will be wet, using just enough flour to roll out dough.
    Roll to about 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut with cookie cutters and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
