String Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. green beans, cut lengthwise
    2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    pinch of pepper
    lettuce
    Parmesan cheese, grated
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 onion
    1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
Preparation
    Cook beans in boiling salted water for 15 minutes.
    Drain and cool.
    Combine oil, vinegar, onion, salt and pepper.
    Mix with beans.
    Lightly cover and chill.
    Serve heaped on lettuce leaf and sprinkle with egg and cheese.
    Serves 4.
