Open Face Hamburgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger (not lean)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. catsup
    2 eggs
    5 white crackers
    slices of bread (as needed)
    grated cheese (any kind)
Preparation
    Put hamburger in bowl.
    Put all ingredients into meat, except crackers.
    Roll crackers into small pieces and mix all together like a meat loaf.
    Put slices of bread on cookie sheet; spread meat on each slice of bread.
    Cover with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 or 375\u00b0 until cheese is melted, meat is done and bread is toasted.
