Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)

Preparation

Mix sugar, Karo and water.
Boil to hard boil.
Add slowly to beaten egg whites.
Beat until holds peak and drop.
Add nuts, if desired.
