Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sweet milk
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put milk in double boiler.
    Mix sugar and flour; add to milk. Add butter and vanilla.
    Cook in double boiler until thick; cool. To the baked pie crust, add a layer of thinly sliced bananas, a layer of the sauce, another layer of bananas and remainder of sauce.
    Cover with meringue; bake until brown.
