New England Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. diced bacon
    1 chopped onion
    3 c. diced potatoes
    4 c. chicken stock
    celery seed
    dill seed
    6 c. corn kernels
    1 c. milk
    1 c. half and half
Preparation
    Saute bacon; remove from pan.
    Saute onion in part of bacon fat.
    Add potatoes and chicken stock.
    Season with celery seed and dill seed.
    When tender, add corn, milk and half and half.
    Heat to boiling; season.
    Serve with diced bacon on top.
