Grandma Pilkington'S Baked Custard\ - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    pinch of salt
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Butter 5 custard cups; place buttered cups into baking pan which has water in it.
    Mix eggs and sugar, nutmeg, vanilla and salt.
    Pour scalded milk into mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until set so you can take a knife out clean.
