Creamed Chicken And Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    1 c. diced carrots
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced onions
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 1/2-inch slice Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Boil chicken in 1 1/2 quarts water with onion, salt and pepper until tender; cool.
    In soup pot, melt oleo and add carrots, celery and cabbage in that order.
    Cover and steam until vegetables are soft.
    Add 1 quart chicken broth and potatoes. Simmer until vegetables are soft.
    Add cheese, cubed.
    Heat until cheese melts.
    Use as much of chicken breast as desired; chop fine and add to soup.
    Use other meat for another dish.
    Serves 4.
