Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    2 large onions
    1 scant Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    16 oz. stewed tomatoes
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    2 (8 oz.) cans water
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    3 tsp. corn meal
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    2 cans kidney beans
Preparation
    Saute meat and onions until soft; pour off grease.
    Add all other ingredients except beans. Simmer 30 minutes.
    Rinse beans and add to mixture.
    Simmer 20 to 30 minutes longer.
