Baked Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can string beans
    1/4 c. tapioca
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 lb. carrots
    1 large onion
Preparation
    Cut beef into small pieces.
    Cut carrots into bite-size pieces.
    Quarter onion.
    Mix the above with the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
    May be baked in oven at 250\u00b0 for 5 or 6 hours or cooked in a slow cooker all day.
    Serve over rice.
