Gingerbread With Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. soft butter
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. molasses
    Lemon Sauce (follows)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, cloves and salt. Stir in butter, water and molasses until well blended. Pour into pan. Bake 40 to 50 minutes, until tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly on warm rack. Serve warm with Lemon Sauce.
