Sausage Pinwheels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. shortening
    1/4 c. water
    1 lb. hot sausage, at room temperature
Preparation
    Make crust by combining flour, salt and baking powder with shortening.
    Add water and stir.
    Turn dough onto floured surface and divide into 2 parts.
    Roll out each part as thin as possible and spread with uncooked sausage.
    Roll into long roll (like jelly roll) and slice.
    Place slices onto cookie sheet; bake 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Makes 50.
