Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. all-purpose potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8-inch thick
    1 1/4 c. grated Gruyere cheese (4 oz.)
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    salt and freshly ground pepper
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, at room temperature and cut into small pieces
    4 c. light chicken stock or canned low sodium broth
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Generously butter a 9 x 13-inch (3-quart) baking dish.
    In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with 1/2 cup Gruyere cheese and the flour.
