Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. scalded milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 c. bread (home baked, broken up, dry)
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 plus Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Grease baking dish; scald milk and beat eggs.
    Add sugar and beat.
    Add milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
    Stir and add a sprinkle of salt.
    Add bread and stir.
    Add raisins and mix just enough so raisins don't sink and dot with butter.
    Set baking dish in about 2 inches of warm water while baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about an hour, or until knife comes out clean.
