No-Peek Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    4 stalks celery, chopped with leaves
    1 onion, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
Preparation
    Place first 6 ingredients in pan and boil until chicken is done.
    Cool and debone chicken.
    Combine next 5 ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Stir until moistened.
    Drop by tablespoon into boiling broth.
    Cover tightly.
    Reduce heat and don't peek. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
