Carne Guisada - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. round steak, trimmed and cubed
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped tomato
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes with green chiles, undrained
    1/4 c. water
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook steak in oil in large heavy skillet over medium-high heat, stirring continually, until browned.
    Sprinkle flour over beef and stir thoroughly.
    Add onion and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil over medium heat.
    Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 40 minutes or until meat is tender and sauce is thickened.
    Serve mixture in flour tortillas.
    Yields 4 cups.
