Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1 small onion, chopped

Preparation

Mix together and drop by teaspoon in hot oil.
Make sure oil is deep.
